Queensland Advocacy Incorporated (Q A I) is an independent, community-based systems and legal advocacy organisation for people with disability in Queensland, Australia.
Q A I’s patron is His Excellency the Honourable Paul de Jersey AC, Governor of Queensland.
QAI receives funding for our systems advocacy and NDIS Appeals Support Program from the Commonwealth Department of Social Services.
The Commonwealth Attorney-General provides funding for community legal centres through the Queensland Government under the National Partnership Agreement on Legal Assistance Services.
QAI's Human Rights Legal Service, Mental Health Legal Service and Justice Support Program receives funding from the Queensland Department of Justice and Attorney-General and the Commonwealth Attorney-General, allocated by the Queensland Government.
